Stress is an healthy part of learning, growing and living our lives to our greatest potential. However, our western lifestyles can produce unhealthy stress, especially if it is prolong and constantly ignored & overridden. This often leads to mental/emotional breakdowns or outbursts, burnout, depression/anxiety, fatigue, insomnia and other manifestations of disease.

Acupuncture & Chinese medicine cannot help eliminate the external stressors in our lives! it may however help to relive the symptoms of stress and the accompanying conditions which chronic stress creates.

For those who use drugs, alcohol, caffeine & sleeping pills as ways of relieving their stress, acupuncture may be a helpful and healthy replacement as these self medicating methods only provide limited & short term relief and often further stimulate the adrenals and stress responses, thus creating more problems.
